The primary management approach for DSTI ranges from optimal preservation of individual structure to early primary definitive skin cover, superior skin cover, early return of function and secondary procedures, if required [5]. Cell migration assay was performed in 24-well size Transwell inserts with 8.0-μm-pore polycarbonate membrane and 0.3 cm2 effective growth area (#3422, BD FalconTM Cell Culture Inserts, BD Biosciences, Bedford, MA). hGFs were trypsinized and re-suspended in serum free media. 1x105 cells in total 200 μl of media were seeded in each insert.
